Former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro and Pro Bowl offensive tackle Tra Thomas went off on the current team on today's 94WIP Midday Show.
"In the 12 years I played in the NFL, never had I been pulled out of a game after we got our ass kicked. NEVER!" Thomas said, joining his former teammate Hugh Douglas and co-host Joe Glgio. "The only time I got taken out of a game, is if we had that thing in hand."
Thomas, 49, played for the Eagles from 1998-2008. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2001, 2002, and 2004 and made the All-Pro Second-Team in 2002.
On Sunday, the Eagles were embarrassed at MetLife stadium by a now 6-11 New York Giants team, losing 27-10. Philadelphia has lost five of their final six games as they now head into the postseason to face the Tampa Bay Bucs in Tampa Bay on Monday night.
