Carson Wentz's time in Philadelphia is on the verge of extinction, as Howie Roseman continues to look for a trade partner.

In the opening of Thursday's 94WIP Midday Show, Joe DeCamara opined that he will be rooting against Wentz for the remainder of his career, wherever he may wind up.

"When Carson is out of here Jon, I'm not rooting for Carson," DeCamara said. "And not only am I not rooting for him, I'm gonna root against him. I don't want to sound like a bad guy, maybe there are some people I'm going to be a bad guy in saying that, but I'm just being honest with you.

"One of the things I really like [about my job] is just being honest and having frank conversations as sports fans about what we're thinking and what we're feeling. And I can honestly say, reflecting on the whole thing—the totality of it—that when Carson is not here I will not root for him and I will it take a step further and I'll flat out root against him. I honestly didn't expect to be at this spot."

DeCamara clarified he doesn't believe Wentz is a bad guy, but he does question Wentz as a teammate.

"I'll say this, I don't think he's a bad guy," DeCamara said of the 28-year-old quarterback. "I don't think he's a bad person. I really don't think he's a bad person. I know he laid his body on the line and of course I have appreciation for that. He's dealt with a lot of injury and that has been in part because he plays a brutal sport and he plays it ferociously and I admire the way he competes in that regard. And of course he'll always have a huge spot in our hearts as a member of, and a significant member of the Super Bowl winning championship team here in Philadelphia. With all that said, lately Jon, the tide has turned for me. He has not said anything publicly. So he gets benched, he says nothing. After the season he says nothing. After Doug Pederson gets fired—who is a good dude. Doug is a good guy. I don't care what differences Carson and Doug had, I really don't. Every single Eagles fan, even 100% of Eagles fans who wanted Doug gone, every single Eagles fan recognizes Doug is a good guy. For Carson not to post anything after the only head coach he ever had in Philadelphia sports in his NFL career gets fired, he posts nothing. He says nothing. That was a big turn off to me. [Nick] Sirianni gets hired, he says nothing. Still, he says nothing. I sense Jon, he never really took accountability for how bad he was. Obviously his ego is a thing. We know it, we've been hearing about it for a couple of years now. The chorus has gotten louder. Terms like difficult and uncompromising—doesn't make him a bad person, but it can make him a bad teammate. It can make him a less coachable guy, it can make him someone that frankly I'm not going to view in the same way as some other team oriented players. And how about this fact, dude wants out. I mean I'm a Philadelphia sports fan, I'm an Eagles fan and Carson Wentz wants out. Has he said it? No. Do I believe it? Yes. Have many other people said it? Yes.

"So why would I be a bad guy for not wanting to root for the guy and flat out rooting against him? And I'm curious where everyone stands on this."
