Report: Flyers prospect Ivan Fedotov arrested in Moscow for 'draft evasion'

25-year-old Philadelphia Flyers Russian goaltender prospect Ivan Fedotov has reportedly been arrested in Moscow for "draft evasion."

Fedotov was drafted by the Flyers in the 7th round (pick No. 188 overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.

Fedotov was traded from Traktor Chelyabinsk, a pro hockey team in Chelyabinsky, Russia, to CKSA Moscow on May 2nd, 2021. On May 7th, 2022, the goalie signed a one-year entry level contract with his draft club, the Flyers.

CKSA Moscow players are "technically in the military" and Fedotov was arrested for draft-dodging.
