Days before final show on 94WIP, Glen Macnow feeling 'wistful' and 'verklempt'

The Prof, Glen Macnow, is retiring after 31 years at WIP, with his final show set for this Saturday, July 13th from 10am-1pm with Mike Sielski.

"A little wistful," Macnow told Joe DeCamara on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show when asked how he is feeling.

"It's very much a reality right now and I've enjoyed and loved doing this job for so long. I'm ready to retire, but you know, the end is a little tough. I'm a little verklempt."

Macnow, 69, was with WIP for over three decades and a full-time host for 20 years. He has been a fabric of the Philadelphia sports landscape for as long as anyone can remember, but also stays busy with his love for acting, writing, beer, and food.
