Glen Macnow's Final Show on 94WIP

The Prof, Glen Macnow, said goodbye after 31 years at WIP, with his final show coming on Saturday, July 13th from 10am-1pm with Mike Sielski.

You can listen to Macnow's final show in its entirety, above.

"This job gave me so much and opened up outside opportunities for me to write books, teach college classes, to host two TV shows, to get involved in a brewery, to put together stage shows," Macnow said as he signed off. "I will miss it all...All those bits and jokes that we did...It's tough to step away because I still love this job. The prep is harder than it used to be...but the three hours on air with Mike or with Jody, always still a blast and I will miss that. But it's time for me."

Macnow also became the third person inducted into the WIP Hall Of Fame joining Angelo Cataldi and Tom Brookshier.

Macnow was joined in-studio for his final show by Cataldi, Ray Didinger, Jody McDonald, Ike Reese, Rhea Hughes, Dave Spadaro and others.

Macnow, 69, was with WIP for over three decades and a full-time host for 20 years. He has been a fabric of the Philadelphia sports landscape for as long as anyone can remember, but also stays busy with his love for acting, writing, beer, and food.

Macnow announced his retirement on April 20th on the air.
