Bryce Harper hits go-ahead 8th inning HR for No. 300, Kimbrel blows save in loss

Bryce Harper is going to go down as one of the most clutch athletes in Philadelphia sports history.

Harper hit his career 300th home run in the most dramatic of ways, as only he can, hitting a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning of the Phillies' series finale against the Angels on Wednesday.

Harper, 30, had a ridiculous month of August going 35-97 (.360) at the plate with 10 home runs and 24 RBIs.

However, Craig Kimbrel blew the save, allowing three earned runs on two hits in the top of the 9th and the Phillies would lose 10-8 ending their nine game home stand with a 7-2 record.

Harper will join Jon Marks and Ike Reese on 94WIP on Thursday, August 31st at 4:00pm E.T.
