Bryce Harper, who joined the Phillies at Spring Training in Clearwater on Thursday, also joined Jon Marks & Ike Reese live in Florida.
Harper, 30, underwent Tommy John surgery on November 23rd and he is expected to return to the lineup around the All-Star break.
"I feel real good...my body feels, I feel strong,. Elbow feels good, just taking it day by day and kind of seeing after each workout or after each rep, things like that, how I'm feeling and how I'm recovering."
Harper talked about the incredible postseason run the Phillies went on last season the relationship with the Philadelphia fan base.
"But everybody holds us accountable and I love that and being able to go through it with them was so much fun," Harper said. "The city, the way they reacted to us and the way we reacted to them as well, it was just so much fun...I think you can kind of put us up there as America's team for a second when we were going through it."
When asked about his personal success and remarkable postseason as a big money player, Harper responded, "It just has to be done, right? It has to be done." Harper then mentioned his teammates who "got it done as well."
