Bryce Harper with 3 home run, 6 RBI night
Bryce Harper has entered the season.
After going 0-11 in his first three games of the 2024 season, Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper hit three home runs and knocked in six runs in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Reds.
Harper hit a solo home run in the first inning that went 420 feet and was 107 MPH off the bat.
In the 4th inning, Harper hit a line drive blast over the right field fence, another solo shot. It was Harper's 1,000th career run scored.
And then in the bottom of the 7th with the Phils leading 4-1, Harper hit a no-doubt-about-it grand slam for the hat trick, putting the game away.
Harper lined out in the 6th inning. He is now 3-15 (.200) on the season after the 0-11 start.
The rubber match of the Phillies-Reds series at Citizens Bank Park has been moved to 4:05pm on Wednesday on 94.1 WIP-FM, for now. Both teams are off on Thursday.
