Parsons, who has frequented baseball games in his down time, was at Citizens Bank Park for Game 3 between the Phillies and Astros and posted on social media he was rooting for the Phillies in a pic with the FOX pregame show crew.

Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson responded with the eyeballs emoji, but Parsons replied that it was just home support.

The 23-year-old Cowboys linebacker and Penn State product is originally from Harrisburg, Pa., about a two-hour drive from Philadelphia.  So, it should come as no surprise that he is rooting for the Phillies.

Parsons was certainly fired up while watching the game, too. Live-tweeting his reaction to some big moments, particularly Bryce Harper’s two-run home run in the first inning to give the Phils an early 2-0 lead.

Parsons is arguably the best defensive player in the NFL, so Dallas fans probably won’t get too upset with him expressing adoration for a Philly team.
