Jason Kelce on Phillies: '2024 hurts most because this team underachieved'
Philadelphia legend Jason Kelce says, of the last three seasons, this 2024 Philadelphia Phillies' playoff elimination hurts the most.
"I think it's this year because this is the team that underachieved," Kelce told Joe DeCamara on the 94WIP Morning Show when asked which Phillies' playoff loss hurt the most (2022, 2023, or 2024).
"2022, that team just struck fire, they were the [2024] Mets right? They just came out of no where, blew the lid of off it, Topper came in like what, midseason. It was just an awesome year. Even though they lost it felt like this was a really good group that really competed. This year it feels like Middleton put so much into it and they really started out so hot, the expectations were through the moon. This one felt like, they really hit a dud there."
Kelce, who joins the 94WIP Morning Show in-studio every Thursday from 7:30-8:30am talking all Philly sports and taking calls, spent an hour on today's discussing last night's devastating Phillies' Game 4 NLDS loss to the Mets.
