Larry Andersen does not 'see signs of Phillies offense coming around'

The Philadelphia Phillies are off to an early 2-4 start, but more concerning than their record is the way they are swinging the bat.

"I don't see any signs of the offense coming around," Phillies radio announcer Larry Andersen said on the 94WIP postgame show on Wednesday night following the team's 4-1 series loss to the Reds.

"Obviously Harper had the three home runs last night, Schwarber has hit a couple line drive home runs. But outside of that, I mean nobody—the bats don't even look good."

As a team, the Phils are hitting just .223, which ranks 20th in Major League Baseball. Their .305 on-base percentage is 19th and their .355 slugging percentage is also 19th.

Individually, Nick Castellanos is just 3-20 (.150) and Trea Turner is just 5-23 (.217). Johan Rojas is an abysmal 1-15 (.067).
