Mike Schmidt on the Phils: 'I'm not panicked, the run will come'

Phillies legend Mike Schmidt joined Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show to discuss the struggling Philadelphia Phillies, who are now 20-23 after losing four straight.

Begins at 9:15 mark

"I'm not panicked," Schmidt said. "I'm a lot like Rob Thomson. The run will come to put us up there into the potential 90 win category at the end of the year, I'm confident about that. The team is just too good.

"We need to beat more of the teams we are better than. The last road trip showed that...I think the Braves beat those kind of teams. You need to beat those teams two out of three pretty consistently."

You can now bid on a dinner party for eight with Mike Schmidt, as part of the Phillies' Phantastic Auction for charity. The current bid, as of 12:00pm on Thursday, May 18th, is $3,390 with the bidding ending on Friday, May 19th at 9:00pm.
