"The Mets' 42nd loss of the year, is their most horrific."

That was the call on Sunday from Mets play-by-play announcer Gary Cohen, as the Mets blew a 6-3 eighth inning lead at Citizens Bank Park, losing 7-6 to the Phillies.

The Phillies scored four runs in the eighth, mostly off of blunders by the Mets.

Phillies fans took joy from the Mets' TV and radio calls on Twitter.

The Phils took two of three from the Mets over the weekend and now head to Chicago to face the Cubs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before returning home for a three-game set vs. the Nationals.
