Joe Giglio is officially worried about the 2024 Philadelphia Phillies.
"I am officially worried because this team is starting to feel like they're wearing this, like this is weighing on them," Giglio said on Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "It's beyond just a tough stretch. This is the team now [with the deadline over] and they have to get out of this rut."
The Phillies are 4-10 in their last 14 games and 20-22 since the London series. They have now lost four times post All-Star break in games where they have held a three-run lead.
Offensively, Bryce Harper and Trea Turner have gone ice cold simultaneously. Harper is just 6 for his last 47 (.128) and Turner is just 8 for his last 48 (.167).
