Joe DeCamara had a message for Phillies fans at the beginning of Friday's 94WIP Morning Show, just hours after the team advanced to their second straight National League Championship Series.
"How ironic is it, that the song and the lyrics are 'Dancing On My Own' when in fact we're all dancing with them," DeCamara said. "Look, I'm just so happy right now. I'm so happy these days as a Philadelphia sports fan, as a Phillies fan. I'm proud of our club. I am proud of them. I don't go there often. I'm proud of them. I'm thankful for the Phillies. I'm thrilled for our city and our region...What you're experiencing, I'm experiencing. And I know what I'm experiencing. I know what's going on in my heart, so I know what's going on in your heart. It's a wonderful thing."
"It feels like we can't lose, so I am guarding my heart a little bit here, but we are on a crash course with destiny, Joe DeCamara!" Jon Ritchie replied.
The Phillies and Diamondbacks begins the NLCS on Monday in Philadelphia. The Phillies are -166 favorites to win the series, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
