DeCamara, Ritchie, Seltzer: Frustrated with Bohm's body language
Alec Bohm and his negative body language is back, despite the Phillies' 7-2 start to the season.
The 94WIP Morning Show discussed their frustrations with Bohm, who did not play in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.
DeCamara: "I wonder if this is why Bohm didn't play on Sunday—I didn't like his body language on Saturday.
Seltzer: "All season long, man."
DeCamara: "He hasn't played well offensively. There have been obviously times where he has not seen many pitches. But if I'm Rob Thomson[...]if I am choosing to sit Alec Bohm yesterday for a specific reason related to him. For me, if I'm the skipper, it's because of the body language I saw on Saturday.
"I don't remember a player who gets frustrated more often when he makes an out that is in a good groove on offense."
Seltzer: "In the lead in games, he's throwing these fits."
Ritchie: "It's just so impetuous and childish because of that. That's the part that I despise. It's too selfish. This is a team sport. Everything is good, man. The team is rolling, yet you can't handle something."
Bohm is just 7-35 (.200) with one extra base hit in his first eight games to start the season after dealing with trade rumors throughout the offseason.
