Joe Giglio believes the Philadelphia Phillies are going to beat the Atlanta Braves in the National League Divisional Series.
"My gut feeling this morning Hugh, and it's obvious all year the Braves have been the better team. Right? They've won this division by 14 games, they've been the better team. But in the postseason that doesn't have to matter. It is a five game series. It is best out of five and my gut feeling right now is the Phillies are going to beat the Atlanta Braves."
The series, a rematch of last year's NLDS in which Philadelphia won three games to one, begins on Saturday at 6:07pm.
"I believe this team, right now, is on a mission," Giglio said of the Phils. "They're clicking on all cylinders. They've got a secret weapon in the bullpen that we saw last night. Their offense is clicking on all cylinders. My gut feeling right now is the Phillies are going to beat the Braves and they're going all the way."
The Phillies are +148 in the series, while the Braves are -184 favorites according to Fanduel Sportsbook.
