In his first start home start as a Phillie, Michael Lorenzen threw a 124-pitch no-hitter on Wednesday night.

It feels like something special is brewing once again at Citizens Bank Park, and Joe DeCamara talked about how proud he is to be a Phillies fan and the relationship between the team and the Delaware Valley.

"There's a lot of emotions, there's a lot of different emotions," DeCamara said on Thursday morning. "The thing that really hit me the most is what I believe is a love affair between team and town. Multiple layers to it. Obviously there is the Trea Turner thing from basically a week ago and what an incredible homestand it has been...all-time homestand.

"We loved our team back then [2007-2011]. And we waited a long time, we waited a decade to kind of like fall in love with another group of Phillies players—how they play, but also who they are and how they represent our town. And that to me is the thing that hit me most with this. It's just a great time to be a Phillies fan."

Lorenzen was acquired by Dave Dombrowski and the Phils at the trade deadline and has now pitched 17.0 innings over his first two starts, allowing just six combined hits and two combined earned runs.

Also on Wednesday night, 28-year-old Weston Wilson hit a home run in his first at-bat and Nick Castellanos hit two home runs, numbers 199 and 200 for his career.

The Phils are now 4-2 in their first six games of a 10 game homestand. They are currently 63-52 overall, giving them a 1.0 game cushion over the Giants for the NL's top wildcard spot.
