Former Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. was on 94WIP with Devan Kaney this weekend and Kaney asked him about a potential surprise Phillies move this offseason.
RAJ: "You may see one of the big contracts moved."
Devan: "Like a Trea Turner contract?"
RAJ: "I'm just telling you the big contracts, that's all I'll say."
Amaro said he believes Ranger Suarez, Nick Castellanos and Harrison Bader won't be back with the Phillies in 2026. Amaro does believe Rob Thomson will return as the manager and the team will re-sign Kyle Schwarber and J.T. Realmuto.
On Tuesday, Kaney told the 94WIP Midday Show that she believes the player Amaro Jr. may have been talking about is Bryce Harper.
