94WIP's Jack Fritz has an idea and believes the Phillies may push to acquire 25-year-old left-handed starter Garrett Crochet.
"I think the big move they could make," Fritz said on Monday's 94WIP Afternoon Show. "I think that they're going to make a push to trade for Garrett Crochet, the White Sox starter. I think the idea would be you put him obviously in the rotation and when Ranger comes maybe using [Ranger] out of the bullpen."
Crochet is 6-8 in 22 starts this season with a 3.23 ERA for the White Sox. He has 160 strikeouts and just 26 walks, a 12.6 SO/9.
