We are now 11 days removed from an Eagles Super Bowl loss and the new 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie turned their attention to the Phillies and Sixers this morning, asking which team is more likely to win the championship.
Surprisingly, over 85-percent of fans said the Phillies.
On the show, DeCamara mentioned a poll from last week which said 87-percent of fans are more excited for than the Phillies than the Sixers. DeCamara believes the Sixers "clearly" have a better chance to get to the NBA Finals than the Phillies do to get to the World Series.
The Sixers return from the All-Star break tonight at home in a TNT game against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies, to kick off their toughest stretch of the season and the NBA's toughest post All-Star break regular season schedule.
The 76ers are currently 38-19, 3.0 games back of the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the East.
The Phillies, after losing the World Series last season, added Trea Turner in free-agency, but will be without Bryce Harper (Tommy John surgery) until sometime around the All-Star break.
"The Phillies are slated to finish third in their own division," DeCamara said on Thursday. "The Sixers are one of about three, maybe four teams, in the conference that has a legitimate chance to go to the NBA Finals."
