The Phillies re-acquired RHP David Robertson from the Cubs prior to Tuesday's trade deadline, and the reciprocal 40-man roster move was designating RHP Jeurys Familia for assignment.

Familia had signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Phillies this spring after spending most of his career with the rival Mets, but the former All-Star struggled all season, posting a 6.09 ERA in 34 innings.

Philly now has seven days to trade or release Familia, who is about a month shy of hitting 10 years of service time.

Robertson and fellow acquisition Brandon Marsh will not be with the team until at least Wednesday, so to replace Familia and the also-DFA Odubel Herrera on the 26-man roster, the Phillies added Mickey Moniak and righty Francisco Morales.
