MLB Twitter can't figure out why Kyle Schwarber tried to bunt with two strikes in game six

The Phillies, in desperate need of any sort of offense late in game six of the World Series, had one of their most productive playoff bats at the plate in the top of the eighth in Kyle Schwarber.

Then, facing an 0-2 count with two outs and the bases empty, Schwarber squared to bunt, popped it foul, and that was that. Inning over, moving the Astros to within three outs of a championship they would eventually clinch with a 4-1 win.

Schwarber had homered earlier in the game for Philly's only run, and given the spot and the infrequency in which Schwarber ever squares to bunt, baseball fans couldn't quite figure out why in the world Schwarber would try to lay one down.
