In his second day in the majors and his team down to their final out, 24-year-old Luke Williams hit a walk off home run on Wednesday night to give the Phillies a 2-1 victory.
Williams, a third-round pick of the Phillies in 2015, was making his first career start. He also recorded his first career double earlier in the game.
Williams helped Team USA clinch a spot in the Tokyo Olympics earlier in the week, before getting the big league call up.
Williams' family was at the game and he was emotional talking about it.
"You're gonna make me cry," he said. "I can't even explain it. It's pretty awesome."
