The Phillies have reportedly swung a five-player trade with the Tigers to bolster their bullpen.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, Philly has dealt Matt Vierling, Nick Maton, and Donny Sands to the Tigers for reliever Gregory Soto and infielder Kody Clemens.

Soto, a 27-year-old lefty, tossed 60.1 innings for Detroit last season, logging 30 saves and posting a 3.28 ERA. Soto gives the Phillies another arm with late-inning experience, and another fireballer who can consistently hit 100 mph on the radar gun.
Clemens, the son of former superstar pitcher Roger Clemens, struggled in his first big league season last year, batting .145 with five home runs in 127 plate appearances. He was the Tigers’ third-round draft pick back in 2018.
Maton only played in 34 games for Philly last season, batting .250 with five home runs, while Vierling hit .246 with six home runs in 117 games.
