Phillies Twitter is officially back.
After three hitless innings to start Opening Day in Texas against the Rangers, Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed four hits and five earned runs in the bottom of the 4th, blowing a 5-0 Phils lead.
And Twitter was not happy.

The Rangers ended up scoring nine runs in the bottom of the 4th to take a 9-5 lead. Nola's final line is 3.2 IP, 4 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 4 K.
Obviously, things are going beautifully for the Phils, who knocked Jacob deGrom out of the game after just 3.2 innings. Alec Bohm is 2-2 with a HR and a double, while Trea Turner and Brandon Marsh both triple and Nick Castellanos doubled to start his 2023 season.
