The Philadelphia Phillies have been red hot in the month of June, winning seven of their eight series' this month en route to a 17-7 record.

But despite climbing back to 42-37, five games above .500, the Phils still find themselves 10.5 games back of the Braves, 4.0 games back of the Marlins, and trailing both the Giants and Dodgers in the NL Wildcard race.

“The Phillies have played great baseball in the month of June, but it’s alarming to me that they aren’t making up any ground," Joe Giglio said on Thursday's 94WIP Midday Show. "I’m still not yet fully convinced this team is going back to the playoffs.”

Joe DeCamara posed the question on Thursday morning if the Phillies are a good baseball team?

"I think the Phillies have turned into a good club, but here's the walk back, I don't know it," he said. "A simple question, are the Phillies a good baseball team?"

The Phillies look to sweep the Cubs in Chicago tonight before facing the Nationals for a three-game weekend set at Citizens Bank Park.
