Former Philadelphia Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. admits he used to call SportsRadio 94WIP with a fake voice to rip himself while he was the general manager of the team.

"Oh I've actually called in and faked my voice," Amaro Jr. said on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show alongside Joe DeCamara, Jody McDonald (in for Jon Ritchie, James Seltzer and Rhea Hughes.

"I've faked my voice after a game. No, as a GM. Oh yeah, I fake my voice. Oh yeah, I've done it. Confession!"

"No, I was killing him!" Amaro Jr. said.

Amaro Jr., 59, was the Phillies' assistant GM from 1998-2008 and then took over as GM from 2009-2015 and was a frequent guest on the 94WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi and Al Morganti.
