More than a game. You can listen to the moment here.
Philadelphia Phillies radio play-by-play announcer Scott Franzke, who lost his father Bob in May, was emotional describing the special moment between Nick Castellanos and his son Liam at the culmination of Sunday's epic Phillies' win.
Moments after hitting a walk off to beat the New York Mets in Game 2 of the NLDS, Castellanos ran over to his son Liam who was sitting in the first row as he always does.
"His son Liam is there waiting for him, how about that?" A choked up Franzke said on 94WIP.
Franzke's colleagues Larry Andersen and Kevin Stocker immediately picked up Franzke on the call, giving him a second to collect himself.
Sports truly give us special moments.
