As it turns out, Andrew Bogut, the 2015 NBA champ, is one hell of a podcast host.

On the latest episode of Rogue Bogues, the longtime NBA big man delved into the situation revolving around Kelly Oubre, oft-discussed in trade rumors heading into the deadline but never actually moved.

Bogut detailed that the Warriors had checked in with Oubre about the idea of assuming a bench role next season when Klay Thompson returns. Steve Kerr had hinted as much in a pre-deadline appearance on Damon, Ratto & Kolsky. Oubre wasn’t on board with that idea and, as it turns out, an unspecified Warrior, wasn’t on board with Oubre’s reluctance.

“(Oubre) said something along the way of, 'I'm more than a bench player, I wouldn't come off the bench,' Now, I'm not gonna name the player, but I've heard the Warriors players didn't take too lightly to those comments," Bogut explained. "They basically made it pretty known that Andre Iguodala, a Finals MVP, was ok coming off the bench but we have Kelly motherf---ing Oubre who won't. That was not directed behind his back, that was to his face.”
