In the wake of Stephen Curry’s virtuoso performance in the Western Conference Finals, Andre Iguodala has lavished the Splash Bro with praise.

“I think he’s the second best ever,” Iguodala said per Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic.

In the process of sweeping aside the Blazers, Curry averaged 36.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 7.3 apg.

“I always thought that about him,” Iguodala continued. “I knew but other people didn’t know.”

Asked to clarify what Iguodala meant by second best ever, Thompson, in the comments section, replied: “Player. Behind Jordan(.)”
Then on Tuesday morning, Thompson re-clarified the quote:

“He’s the second-best ever.” — Andre IguodalaTo be clear, Andre was calling Curry the second-best point guard ever. Which is why no one is surprised by another Curry playoff moment. https://t.co/GLLR9XaSxS
