Kevin Durant, out since Game 5 of the Warriors' second-round series with the Rockets, is on the verge of returning. Per Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, Durant is exected to get back on the court at the "midway point" of the Finals.

Durant, a spectator for the Game 1 loss, is working his way back from a right calf strain. Heading into the series opener, Kerr all but ruled out Durant for the opening two-game swing in Toronto.

Per ESPN's Senior Writer Ramona Shelburne, KD seems to be improving. 

Kevin Durant juuuuuust left the arena after getting about an hour of treatment following Warriors practice. “Getting there,” he said. No visible limp.

Steve Kerr went on to comment on KD's update, "When he's ready to play, he'll play."
