Haynes: Durant to miss Game 2 against the Blazers with right calf strain

As has been widely anticipated, the Warriors appear set to play Game 2 against the Blazers without the services of Kevin Duant, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Golden State star Kevin Durant (calf strain) will not play in Game 2 of the WCF against Portland, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Durant, who is set to be re-evaluated on Thursday before Game 2, was always a long shot to feature in that matchup. Kerr, when asked about the topic after practice, shut things down in characteristically diplomatic fashion.

One team source, with direct knowledge of the situation, indicated after Game 1 on Tuesday night that the Warriors are not counting on having Durant on the floor at any point in the series against the Blazers.
