On the heels of the Warriors missing out on a 3-peat, Draymond Green flew to New York City to visit Kevin Durant, according to
Marc Berman of the New York Post.
Or did he?
Per Berman, Green, one of the chief recruiters when Durant landed with the Warriors in the summer of 2016, made the trip with his fiancée and kids. Green
said otherise, via his Instagram account @money23green:
"lol that’s just bad sources because I actually went to the hamptons for some friends engagement party hahaha but shoutout to the people who saw me walking through JFK though"

June 17, 2019 According to Berman’s reporting, the trip, which Green says didn't happen, was not an effort to lure Durant, expected to opt out of his deal, back to Golden State.
“It’s his friend,’’ an NBA source said told Berman.
“KD doesn’t have to be recruited by Draymond after being there three years.’’

Ric Bucher said Durant left the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York on Friday, has moved to a hotel and is planning to spend the summer in the city.
