August 5, 2019 The Warriors announced over the weekend that they had signed Draymond to a multi-year extension and Bob Myers expressed the organizations excitment.
"We're thrilled to retain Draymond long-term as we move forward and into Chase Center," said GM Bob Myers. "He played an enormous part in shaping our organization over the last seven years."

August 3, 2019 Warriors fans are applauding Bob Myers for getting Draymond's long-term deal done prior to this season to avoid "speculation" on the upcoming season. Draymond was due to hit free-agency in 2020.
