Dr. Anthony Fauci who serves as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, joined Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry for a live Q&A.
Curry and Dr. Fauci got right into things and he stressed how dangerous this virus is.
"This is serious business," Fauci said.
Steph: “We’re not overreacting, right? There’s no overreaction to this. This is a serious situation.”Dr. Fauci: “You’re absolutely right. We need to make that point. This is serious business. We are not overreacting.” ---- pic.twitter.com/197IkaJBgI
— Whitley Sandretto (@WSandretto) March 26, 2020He also discussed how this is 10x more dangerous than influenza (common flu).
"The reason it's different is that it's very very much more transmissible than the flu and more importantly, it's significantly more serious," Fauci said.

— Logan Murdock (@loganmmurdock) March 26, 2020Curry fired off a series of questions including if people can get the virus more than once.
"We haven't done the specific testing to determine that," Fauci said, "But if this acts like every virus similar to it that we know, the chances are overwhelming that if you get infected and recover from infection, that you are not going to get infected with the same virus."

— Whitley Sandretto (@WSandretto) March 26, 2020Since COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan China in December, there's been a lot of false information out there about the virus.
"What's the biggest piece of misinformation that's been out for public consumption?" Steph asked.
"I'd like to get the people in this country to realize we are dealing with a serious problem," Fauci said. "I want to get rid of that misconception that there's extremes. Either the world is going to end or we don't want to do anything. It isn't that. It's somewhere in the middle."
