Golden State Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson joined Bonta, Steiny & Guru to talk about the "Walking in Unity" event he organized.
"If Steph asked me to run through a wall for him, I will now," Toscano-Anderson said. "He showed me he's got my back and I've got his back."
The two-time MVP wasn't the only teammate that showed support. Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney, and Damion Lee all were in attendance for the peaceful protest in Oakland.
"It meant a lot to my community, but it also showed my community that it's deeper than just hoops," Toscano-Anderson said. "These guys don't just share a locker room. It just meant a lot, it meant a lot."
He continued, "So just appreciate them for being there, being supportive. That's all that we need. Me and my friends, we have the mission. We have the goal. Just people being out there supporting us, sharing their voice with us, that meant a lot."

"Honestly, the protest happened last minute," Toscano-Anderson said. "I brought it to my friends attention and said, 'Hey, the time is now. We need to take advantage of the time now to speak out and show people that we're not afraid to speak up for our community and right now for the black community but also we're not afraid to speak up for doing what's right and right now what's right is doing the right thing for humanity."
