Purported Warriors hater Kendrick Perkins is notably bullish on the 2020-21 iteration of the Warriors, as the RADIO.COM Sports Insider detailed in a Tuesday morning appearance on Joe, Lo & Dibs.
“I think the Warriors will be in the middle of the pack,” Perkins reasoned on 95.7 The Game. “I actually got them a fourth or fifth seed in the West.”
“I think Andrew Wiggins will be good for them, in my opinion,” the 2008 NBA champ continued. “I wouldn’t count them out. When guys are away from the game of basketball, a game that they love, when they come back the following year, they’re going to come back on a mission.”
“Klay (Thompson). Steph (Curry). Those guys will come back ready next year and it’s going to be scary for the league but it’s going to be good for the league. And I do like the pickup of Wiggins… I think he’s Harrison Barnes 2.0.”
