A day after Robbie Gould's trade request, NFL Network/NFL.com's Ian Rapoport tweeted Wednesday morning that the Niners will not oblige Gould's demand.

The kicker was franchise tagged on Feb. 26, which means he is in line to make roughly $5 million.
For Gould's part, his goal is to play at home in Chicago, as he detailed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"At this point, I have to do what's best for me and my family back home."
