Harbaugh calls Staley ‘the best offensive lineman I ever coached’

Jim Harbaugh, the former 49ers head coach turned Michigan boss, stopped by Joe, Lo & Dibs to offer high praise for the recently retired Joe Staley on Tuesday morning.

"He's the best offensive lineman that I ever coached,” Harbaugh said on 95.7 The Game.

"Congratulations to Joe on a career that is... makes him one of the best that the NFL's ever, ever had," Harbaugh said before hanging up. "(He's) one of the best players in NFL history. Congratulations to him."

With Staley exiting after 13 seasons with the club, the 49ers brought in left tackle Trent Williams in a trade with the Washington Redskins.
