Kevin Durant has been a hot topic throughout the NBA season. To those still speculating about his free-agent future, the Golden State Warriors two-time champion has a statement for you.
Durant told The Undfeated's Marc J. Spears he hasn’t made his free-agent call just yet.
“If I already made a decision, it would take away from the team, what we’re fighting for," Durant said. "Every play would be overshadowed by it."
“It is not necessary for me to make a decision right now."
Durant, who dropped 23 points in the Game 1 win over the Clippers on Saturday night, went on to make it clear he’s focused on one thing and one thing only.
The Warriors lead the series 1-0 against the Los Angeles Clippers after Saturday's 121-104 win. Game 2 will take place at Oracle on Monday night. As always, catch the action on 95.7 The Game. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm and Warriors Live begins at 6.
