The Giants top decision makers have reportedly met with Bryce Harper, and his representative, Scott Boras, for a second time, according to Kerry Crowley of The Bay Area News Group.

And the team isn't looking to add the right fielder on a opportunistic, short-term deal. Per Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, the Giants and Harper's camp have taljked about a 10-year deal.

The guys in Scottsdale are apparently feeling quite bullish.

The sense in the Giants clubhouse today is that they have a very legitimate shot of welcoming Bryce Harper this weekend. https://t.co/7x3dAX3gld

Baer, Zaidi and manager Bruce Bochy originally met with Harper in Vegas back at the beginning of February. A fan broke that story…

@McCoveyChron @GrantBrisbee dude, just met Larry Behr at the Bellagio last night. Maybe he’s in town for Bryce?!?! pic.twitter.com/PUnPWS4CkO
