Joe Montana, the 49er icon, is moving into a new, burgeoning business: cannabis.

January 24, 2019 Caliva, the San Jose-based weed dispensary and delivery service, raising $75 million in funding, per a report from NBC Bay Area.
Here’s Montana’s thoughts on the new venture, according to NBC Bay Area:
“In a statement, Montana said that he hopes the company will bring "quality health and wellness products that can provide relief to many people and can make a serious impact on opioid use or addiction."
