Cedric Thornton is officially back with the 49ers. The team announced that the defenisve lineman has been reinstated from the Reserve/Retired List.
Thornton foreshadowded the move, retweeting the following post from ESPN's Field Yates:
As the 49ers began their offseason program today, DT Cedric Thornton was added to the active roster, per source. His retirement from August is apparently over.

April 15, 2019 Thornton who played with the Eagles from 2011-2015, the Cowboys in 2016 and Buffalo Bills in 2017, originally signed with the 49ers last July only to retire a month later.
