After the 49ers dismantled Baker Mayfield and the Brown, 31-3, on Monday Night Football, Colin Cowherd, noted critic of the Cleveland quarterback, suggested he might not even have a place in the league.
“You can’t be 5-foot-11, run a 4.8 40 and throw 56 percent completions,” Cowherd reasoned. “That’s a backup quarterback in this league. I’m not sure it’s a backup.”
