Kwon Alexander, long believed to be lost for the season, might not be done after all, at least according to the Monday Instagram Story of one Kendrick Bourne.
Here’s the video in question, which shows Alexander, who tore his pec in Week 9 against the Cardinals, running on a Santa Clara side field.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan chimed in on the topic during his Tuesday press conference.
Alexander is currently on IR, which means he’s eligible to rejoin the club during the postseason. For the 49ers, there’s a strategic advantage, however slight, in leaving open the door for a potential return of the 25-year-old linebacker.
