Kwon Alexander is on track to make a surprising return for the 49ers' divisional round game on Saturday at Levi's Stadium, according to
ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"Alexander has made progress in his recovery from a pectoral tear that he suffered on Halloween to the point that the Niners now believe he has a good chance of returning for Saturday's NFC divisional round playoff game, league sources told ESPN," Schefter reported."
The 49ers linebacker, who had long been counted out for the season, has recovered much faster than expected. He was
on the practice field on Thursday in Santa Clara as the 49ers prepared for their playoff opener.
