January 2, 2020 Shortly after footage of the veteran practicing surfaced, the team officially announced that Alexander's practice window has been open.
Alexander, who tore his peck in Week 8 against the Panthers, is the second (and final) return-to-play designation for 49ers on IR. The Niners will face a yet-to-be-determined opponent on Jan. 11 at Levi's Stadium in the divisional round.
