After the Browns picked Kevin Stefanski, the guy who directed the Vikings’ offense in the 27-10 loss to the 49ers, over head-coach candidates like Robert Saleh, Kyle Shanahan was beaming.
He had quite the response to finding out that Saleh, who, in the course of a season had gone from persona non grata to one of the league’s foremost rising assistants, will be sticking around Santa Clara.
Kyle Shanahan on Robert Saleh not getting the Browns HC job:“I was pumped. I heard on my way in to work so I was extremely excited. I definitely have some empathy for Saleh... Every year we keep him we’ll be very fortunate. Saleh’s gonna be a head coach in this league.” ---- pic.twitter.com/SPPtcKuQie
