September 16, 2019 In the place of Roethlisberger, Mason Rudolph will be under center. A third-round pick in 2018, Rudolph impressed in the Week 2 loss to Seattle when he relieved Roethlisberger. The second-year quarterback connected on 12 of 19 passes, throwing for 119 yards.
Meanwhile, James Conner, the team’s top running back injured his knee in the defeat against the Seahawks and remains a question mark for Week 3.
